I found this little gem on the internet today (shout out to all the other IWasteSoMuch.com addicts) --->
Intelligence in the form of literary knowledge is the way to my heart for sure. (It's happened in the past, but rarely: Meeting an attractive man/woman whom is more well-read then yourself is a great pleasure, and when/if you meet one, I suggest immediately proposing coffee). I enjoy reading, but have definitely moved past the YA stuff of high school, so it's harder to find people with the same taste sometimes. I would say I enjoy classics, but at the risk of sounding like a snob, let's just say I dabbled in them. (Total lie: I love them, my soul longs for rapture and nothing quite satisfies that like Austen, the Brontes, Tolstoy, C.S. Lewis, and F.S. Fitzgerald.)
The people I have the most thought provoking conversations with are consequently the ones I have the best relationships with. Comparing literature, poetry, and religion/philosophy are things I love to discuss sober or smashed (I'm a big hit at parties, obviously).
Alas, my To-Read is always growing, and never depleting, so meeting someone who can give me the REAL review and summary that should have replaced the ones on the book jacket or who compare theories and imagery from "Lord of the Flies" is something I am always looking for.
So, woo me with your words. I mean, you can talk nerdy to me, too, but let's save that for later.
